Coastal boats

The Swiss Maritime Navigation Office (SMNO) is the point of contact for issuing, renewing and cancelling flag confirmations for coastal boats (CE design category C). The confirmation is required for sailing in foreign inland waters and in coastal waters, insofar as this is permitted by the local law that applies.
